The tool used to test the moisture content in all our logs is a two pronged instrument made by Kamasa which is similar to how you test for water in your house bricks. kiln dried wood has a low moisture content of 8%: our seasoned hardwood has a moisture content of @ 20% and newly cut pine wood can have moisture content of 100% depending in which part of the country it has been cut down, we constantly monitor the moisture content to ensure the quality of our products.
